Fill the capsular bag completely with a cohesive viscoelastic.

I use the Staar injector as per the eyeonics recommendation.

Fixate the eye with the chopper and insert the leading haptics and optic.

Use the chopper to guide the trailing haptics into the capsular bag.

Use the chopper to rotate the IOL to the 12 and 6 o'clock position.

Hydrate the corneal incisions prior to removing the viscoelastic.

Hydrate the sides and roof of the clear corneal incisions.

Thorough viscoelastic removal with care to keep the IOL vaulted back.

Remove the IA probe quickly. Do not let the AC collapse.

Use the blunt BSS cannula to rock the IOL optic and arms posteriorly.
