Evidenced Based RA Therapy: The Critical Role of Disease Activity Assessment

The workshop aims to familiarize rheumatologists with their options in terms of objective means to diagnose likely rheumatoid arthritis (RA), monitor RA disease activity, and integrate these measures into an individualized tight control* regimen for each RA patient. This will be highly interactive, case-based, "hands-on* training. with the 2008 ACR treatment recommendations providing a framework for learners to enhance their knowledge, confidence, and competence in optimizing treatment decisions for their RA patients.

 
ADHD: Current Concepts & Future Developments

Advances in technology, drug formulation, and genetics during the past decade have increased our understanding of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in all populations: child, adolescent, and adult With a focus on adult ADHD, this activity provides insight as to progression of the disorder, from childhood into adulthood, and highlights new evidence from a clinical study environment that is meant to translate to practical application for improved patient care.
